The hotel's location is the biggest plus, right next to Haymarket train station making it convenient for day trips to Glasgow and close to Edinburgh city center. The rooms were really dated and poorly decorated, but the breakfast room had everything we could have wanted. The service was straight forward with minimal hospitality needed, but the staff was functional. The dining area provided basic breakfast options that were sufficient. The overall value for money was good, although the interior felt outdated.

I felt perfectly at home during my stay at this hotel. The rooms were a bit cold, especially the bathroom, but within 3 minutes, I was easily comfortable. The service was really good, helpful, and kind, with a clean bathroom and an excellent location around the corner from Haymarket.
